Hello and Welcome

Hi, I’m Mike, and I’ve been an ESL English teacher for over twenty years. I have taught kindergarten all the way to adult learners during my career.
Over that time I’ve used more websites than I can count. A spelling game here, a worksheet generator there, a timer on one tab, a random name picker on another, and a spreadsheet for attendance and scores. Many of these tools are excellent, but they all live in different places. Every lesson meant juggling tabs, accounts and formats, and the minutes I spent setting things up were minutes I wasn’t teaching.
That’s why I an building Games In Class. My goal is simple: one site that can do it all. You can play classroom games on the board, build your own word lists once and use them everywhere, and print worksheets. You can also take attendance, arrange seating and teams, and keep track of scores and grades, without leaving the page. Everything is designed for real teachers in real classrooms. The tools are simple but powerful, they look and work the same way, and they run on everything from a phone or a tablet to the big screen in the classroom. I’m building each one the way I would want it as a teacher, and I test them with my own students in my own classes.
This site is still growing. I add new games and tools regularly, and I’m always improving what’s already here. If you have an idea, find something that isn’t working, or just want to tell me how a lesson went, I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope Games In Class saves you time and brings a little more fun into your lessons.
Mike
